Hello! We can’t wait to meet and get to know you. Whether you’ve been a student for a while or are new to studying in Guildford, we would love to help you find a church to call home.

St Saviour’s is a town centre church with a contemporary and charismatic style, great teaching, and a beautiful community of all ages and backgrounds. Our vision is to love God, build a community of disciples who follow the way of Jesus, and to reach our local community with the transforming good news. We love welcoming students into our community, and we aim to help you grow in becoming more passionate about Jesus, confident in the Gospel, and equipped to make a difference wherever God is calling you.

MIDWEEK

STUDENT GATHERING | Every Tuesday at 7-9pm | St Saviour’s Church
Think proper quality time together: eating dinner, occasional games, student led sung-worship, reading the Bible together, some teaching, talking, and praying together. Join us for our launch night social on 26th September!

Our student team would love to meet and support you throughout your university career, and can help pair you up with a mentor if you’re keen.

FRESHER’S EVENTS

Friday 22nd September
Come say hi at the Try Church Stand at Surrey Uni’s Fresher’s Fair! We’ll be around on Campus all day if you want to grab a coffee too!

Sunday 24th September
Student BBQ @ 4:30pm- St Saviour’s Guildford. Come join us for a chilled afternoon of free food and the chance to meet the team and some other students!

Tuesday 26th September
Tuesday Gathering Launch @ 7pm- St Saviour’s Guildford.

Thursday 28th September
St Martha’s Walk – come join us on a stroll to a beautiful viewpoint at St Martha’s Church where we’ll have soup, rolls, and cookies! Meet at St Saviour’s at 6pm.

SUNDAYS

Our service times are:
9.00am – Traditional/Reflective Service
10.30am – Morning Service (with 0-18s groups)
6.00pm – Evening Service

THE 6PM
Our 6pm service on a Sunday is the service most of our students and young adults attend. Usually after the evening service we head down to the pub together. At the start of the academic year, our team will be around to meet you and tell you about the many ways that you can get plugged into to both the student community and wider church family.

FAMILY LUNCHES
Our church family love hosting students for a Sunday lunch at their home once a half term! We connect at least two students per family and the first family lunch is on 15th October- email kath.morris@stsaviours.org if you’re keen to join!

WIDER CHURCH
There are countless opportunities for students to get involved with other ministries or courses, either serving or joining in. Have a look around this website for more details of all that we do.
