Alpha

Alpha is an opportunity to explore life’s big questions together in an open, informal environment. Each talk looks at a different question around the Christian faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, online, and in person.  It’s free and everyone is welcome.

We are starting our Alpha course on Wednesday 23 September, and it runs for 8 weeks.

Each evening will follow a similar format – starting with dinner and a chance for conversation before we watch a film and break into small groups for conversation, running from 7.30pm-9.30pm.  If you are curious about Christianity and want to find out more, we would love you to join us.

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions on eight Wednesday nights that explore the meaning of life and the basics of the Christian faith. Each session includes a meal, a short talk, and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. If at any point you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge. The Alpha nights start at  7:30pm.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is pitched at anyone who is curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation in a friendly, open and informal environment. No questions are off limits and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
Can I help?
We’re always looking for volunteers to help at Alpha. There are several teams you can get involved in so if you’d like to help with Alpha, please drop us an email at: alpha@st-saviours.org.uk
What if I missed the first week?
It doesn’t matter if you missed the first week of Alpha – get in touch and we’ll help you join in with the course or sign up for the next one.
