Alpha

Our next Alpha Course starts on January 30th and you’re invited! Alpha is a series of group discussions that freely explore the Christian faith, the person of Jesus, and what this could mean for you. Each session includes refreshments, a short film, and a discussion where you can share your thoughts within a small group. This course lasts 11 weeks.

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions on seven Tuesday nights and one Saturday that explore the meaning of life and the basics of the Christian faith. Each session includes a meal, a short talk, and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. If at any point you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge. The Tuesday nights start at 7pm.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is pitched at anyone who is curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation in a friendly, open and informal environment. No questions are off limits and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
Can I help?
We’re always looking for volunteers to help at Alpha. There are several teams you can get involved in so if you’d like to help with Alpha, please drop us an email at: alpha@st-saviours.org.uk
What if I missed the first week?
It doesn’t matter if you missed the first week of Alpha – get in touch and we’ll help you join in with the course or sign up for the next one.
