Once again, we are delighted that Jonathan Veira will be leading these carol services. Expect a choir, orchestra, traditional readings and a short talk. Bring your friends along to this wonderful celebration of Christmas.
Please bear in mind this service is not appropriate for young children and there will not be children’s provision. These services are not ticketed so please turn up early to get your seats.
16th December | 10:30am
A family carol service with an all age orchestra. Come along and bring your small shepherds, angels and wise men & women, to be part of the Christmas story. This service will be full of Christmas games, fun and celebration. Everyone is invited to come dressed up in a nativity costume or Christmas Jumper!
Our 9am and 10:30am services will be joining together as we end our weekend of carol services. This service will be suitable for all children of all ages 0-99 and will last for approximately 1 hour with refreshments served afterwards. It is not ticketed, so please turn up early to get your seats.
16th December | 6pm
For the fourth year running, the grand finale of our carol service weekend will be contemporary band led carols.
This will replace the normal 6pm evening service.
This service is not appropriate for younger children (please see morning family carols) and is not ticketed so please turn up early to get your seats.
24th December | 4pm
Our Christingle service is open to all but particularly appropriate for families with younger children. The format will be informal, interactive and full of fun, led by our Children’s Pastor Jo Foster.
This service should last approximately 1 hour and is not ticketed so please turn up early to get your seats.
We are inviting members of Trekkers (our additional needs ministry) to join us at the Christingle. Parents of Trekkers children, you will need to remain responsible for your children during the Christingle service as only a few members of the Trekkers team will be available to offer limited support. The lightroom will be open for parents to retire to if their children need a quiet space.
24th December | 11pm
It’s always busy at St. Saviour’s on the night before Christmas. Come join us for an upbeat late night service with communion as we see in the next morning and be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas.
This service is not ticketed so please turn up early to get your seats.
25th December | 8am
A traditional communion service for the earlybirds on Christmas morning.
This service should last about 45 minutes. Please note there will be no children’s provision at this service.
25th December | 10:30am
Come and join us as we celebrate Christmas together. This service is for all ages and will include carols and a short talk as well as lots of festive fun!
Please note, there will be no children’s groups running during the service, as our morning Christmas celebration is designed for all ages and a perfect opportunity to celebrate together as the Big Family.
Tickets: None of our events are ticketed this year with the exception of the Women’s Christmas Market. Therefore please leave yourself time to park and find your seats. Please do not save seats within the church as this will inconvenience others who have arrived early.
Accessibility: All our services benefit from level access and a hearing loop. Some services will have BSL support for the deaf.

After Christmas: On the Sunday after Christmas (3o December) there will be one 10:30am service. While there will be no specific provision for children, families and young people, everyone will be most welcome as we reflect on the year that is past and look forward to the New Year.
Offerings / Collections: Our Christmas offerings will be collected for Tearfund at the Choir led, Contemporary Carol services and Midnight Communion. Our offerings from our Family Carols and Christingle services will go to Shooting Stars. A £500 donation from the offerings will also be made to Angel Tree which is charity that helps provide Christmas presents to the families of imprisoned offenders.
Church Centre: The church centre will be closed between Wednesday 26th December and Saturday 5th January inclusive.
