There will be tea and coffee available for the adults too, as you will be required to stay with your child for the afternoon. If your child has younger siblings, they are very welcome to come along but will need to be closely supervised.

Maundy Thursday  |  Thursday 2 April

Easter Family Experience | 4-6pm

For children aged 6–11 and their families

Step into the Easter story together this Maundy Thursday through a hands-on, immersive journey designed for whole families together.

Families will move through a series of themed rooms, each one bringing a different part of the Easter story to life. Using simple ‘Escape Room style’ activities and storytelling, sound, light, and moments to wonder, children will explore Jesus’ last meal with his friends, his journey to the cross, and the hope at the heart of Easter. Each space is designed to be engaging for children aged 6–11, while giving families space to talk, ask questions, and reflect together.

The experience includes sharing a meal, as families gather around the table to eat, listen, and remember. Throughout the evening there will be opportunities to join in, to create, and to learn in ways that are accessible and meaningful for children.

This is not a performance to watch, but a journey to take part in – walking together through the Easter story and discovering its meaning as a family.

All are welcome. No prior church experience is needed.

Maundy Thursday Meal | 7:30pm

Join us as we journey together through the last meal Jesus had with his disciples before he died, interspersed with a meal together ourselves.

It’ll be a great evening of food, conversation and reflecting with others as we start to mark the events of the week leading up to Easter together.

We’ll provide some soft drinks, but feel free to bring along a bottle of wine (or your drink of choice!) for the evening!
